Find a Support Group
Groups aren't just for those experiencing difficulties with breastfeeding, although we are definitely here for that. Groups are also a wonderful opportunity to meet other parents in a similar situation to you. They're a place to come to take the edge off any postpartum isolation, and to get help with all aspects of parenting that may be impacted by how you feed your baby, but also a safe space to vent frustrations without being pressured to give it up.
Our groups are welcoming of people who breastfeed, chestfeed, human milk feed, express milk feed, exclusively pump, combi-feed, tandem feed, are pregnant, or anyone else with a keen interest to feed their baby with their body and learn more.
If you are expecting a baby, it's worth knowing that a breastfeeding support group counts as antenatal education with your employer, and so is a reason to get excused time off work. It's a perfect opportunity to learn about feeding your baby, and to also build a support network in case you face obstacles in those early days postpartum.
**Some of our groups only run in term time and due to occasional illness or personal circumstances a group my be cancelled. Please check our socials for weekly updates on what's on.
